Running courses - Brasília

The course starts at Núcleo Bandeirante, at the corner of the bus station. It is 4.5 km, passing through Metropolitana and Park Way. It is a hilly course and there is a water fountain. The course has a 1,700 meter climb between Metropolitana and Park Way, followed by 400 meters of flat terrain and then a 1,000 meter descent. The rest of the course is flat. The best time for running is early in the morning, but you can run at night too. Enjoy your running!

Olhos D'água park, at 214 norte. The course is short (2 km), but it is great for a strength training (rolling hills, almost don't have any flat area). It is worth a visit!!! When you leave the place after the workout you can also refresh yourself drinking an iced coconut water that is sold at the entrance.

Here in Brasilia we have the Parque da Cidade – one of the largest parks in the world – with a 10k course. The start and meeting point of the runners is in front of “Kiosque do Atleta”. When you come to Brasilia do your jog there. I am sure you’ll want to return many times.
