Lumiar town is about 50k from Nova Friburgo. It has the most beautiful waterfalls of the region. It is about 10 waterfalls along the road and near most of all there are boarding-houses and bars where you can buy water or use the toilets. Running while you can listen the sound of the waterfalls near you is really a relaxing experience. The scenery includes small mountains and the Atlantic Rain Forest. The course is flat and its extension is about 5k.
