Course Characteristics:
This marathon is known as the hardest in Brazil due to the warm weather in November and the hilly course. To compensate the hard course, runners count with good structure and enthusiastic fans cheering along the course.

The city of Curitiba:
Curitiba, the capital of Paraná State, has 1.6 millions habitants in the metropolitan area and is known as "Ecologic Capital" because it preserves extensive green areas.
