Blumenau Marathon

The 19th edition of the Blumenau Marathon received more than 1,000 runners from all over Brazil and other countries. This year the course was changed in order to be all in the city of Blumenau. But, with this change, Blumenau lost its main characteristic that was the flat fast course.

The winner was Edemilson Rodrigues dos Santos, by the second consecutive year, in 2:16:00. He finished almost 1 km in ahead of second place Edemilson Rodrigues dos Santos that did the time of 2:19:16. The female race was won by Ilda Alves dos Santos in 2:40:56.
