Kenyans Dominate São Silvestre Road Race

Kenyans runners dominated the 80th edition of São Silvestre Road Race, in São Paulo, with victories both on the male and female competitions. Among the women, the winner was Lydia Cheromei in 53:01, more than a minute ahead of second place Lucélia Perez that completed the 15km course in 54:18. In the male competition, Robert Cheruyiot won in 44:43.
