Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo celebrate with 10k races

In January, the two largest cities of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, celebrated their most important dates with road races. In Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian Marily dos Santos (33:59) and Kenyan Mathew Cheboi (29:06) won the São Sebastião 10k road race that celebrated the city's patron saint. São Paulo celebrated its anniversary with "Troféu Cidade de São Paulo 10k" road race, which was won by Marilson Gomes dos Santos (29:07) and Maria Zeferina Baldaia (34:34).
